Steven in Stormville, NY contacted us after noticing his roof was starting to flex when walked on, especially near the skylight and along the back section of the house. The roof was roughly 30–35 years old with two layers of shingles, and water had begun leaking around and below the existing skylight. During the project, we removed both layers and replaced eight sheets of failing corrugated plastic roofing with new plywood to create a solid structure. Once the decking was secure, we installed SealoronXT Ice & Water and VeloraONE Underlayment before adding new IKO shingles in Summit Gray with white drip edge for a clean finish. We also upgraded his old skylight with a new fixed Velux M04 unit paired with white, light-filtering blinds, giving the space proper light and ventilation control with a long-lasting seal.

The old roof showed heavy wear, and the chimney flashing was in poor shape, clear signs the roof needed major attention.
Shingle Removal
As the shingles came off, we uncovered soft spots and rotted boards that required new plywood to rebuild the roof deck.
Seal Installation
Fresh plywood is fully protected with SealoronXT Ice & Water and VeloraONE Underlayment, creating a watertight base before installing the new shingles.
