Roof Replacement in Chelsea, NY

Karen in Chelsea, NY, contacted us because she knew it was time for a roof replacement and wanted a roofing company she could trust from start to finish. Her existing roof was aging, and she didn’t want to risk future leaks or damage by waiting too long. We completed a full roof replacement, beginning with the removal of the old roofing system and a careful inspection of the plywood decking. To properly seal and protect the home, we installed SealoronXT Deck Tape over the seams of the roof deck, which helps keep water out while still allowing the wood to breathe. In the most vulnerable areas, like the eaves and valleys, we added SealoronXT Ice & Water Shield for an added layer of leak protection. The rest of the roof was then covered with VeloraONE Roof Underlayment, creating a strong secondary water barrier across the entire roof. To finish the project, we installed IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Summit Gray, giving Karen’s home a clean, updated look along with durable, long-term protection. This complete roofing system ensures her new roof is sealed, secure, and built to perform for many years to come. The Klaus Roofing Way!
