Our crew stripped off the old shingles and replaced any damaged plywood before starting fresh with our Klaus Larsen Roofing system. We applied SealoronXT Deck Tape to seal the seams between the boards, followed by SealoronXT Ice & Water to protect vulnerable areas and VeloraONE Underlayment to prevent leaks across the rest of the roof. Finally, we installed IKO Dynasty shingles in Frostone Gray, giving his home long-lasting protection and a clean, modern look. The Klaus Roofing Way!

Tabassum's home in Poughkeepsie, NY, had developed several roofing concerns over time, including multiple leaks that had persisted for more than a year. As the home was being prepared for sale, replacing the aging roof became an important step in improving both the property's condition and its market readiness.

Our team completed a full roof replacement on the main home using our Signature Roof System, providing a comprehensive upgrade designed for long-term performance. Because the project involved more than simply replacing shingles, several roofing details were also addressed to improve the overall function of the roof.

To help strengthen the roofing system, SealoronXT Deck Tape was installed over the roof deck seams before the remaining roofing components were applied. Ventilation was also improved by adding new exhaust vents along the upper roof sections, helping promote healthier attic airflow. Additional work included replacing pipe boots, installing new bath fan roof vents, and evaluating key water-management features such as roof crickets and flashing around roof transitions.

For the finished appearance, Tabassum selected IKO Dynasty shingles in Driftshake. The warm, natural color complemented the home's exterior while new white roof-edge metals and brown chimney flashing completed the look. With the leaks addressed and the roofing system fully updated, the home is now better prepared for its next chapter with reliable protection and renewed curb appeal.
