This customer just recently moved into this home, and the roof was leaking! It’s unknown what the initial cause of the leak was, but the sales reps theorize that a tree hit the house and penetrated the roof at one point, as the damage was very localized. We ended up doing a partial roof replacement on that side from hip to ridge cap in order to ensure the leak was fixed and that the shingles around it matched.

This beautiful home in South Salem had a roof that was 21 years old! It was a very complex hip roof with 2 chimneys that were leaking. They were looking to get their roof replaced as fast as possible for insurance reasons, as a prolonged leak could cause mold growth in their home. The permit process through the town often takes a while and can get backed up sometimes, but our guys worked with the town to get the install done in less than two weeks!

When we got to this homeowner's house, nobody before us took the time to walk into the home, let alone do a full inspection! When we went upstairs to look at the plywood, you could see the shingling and underlayments through the wood! There was also a black mold problem that the homeowners were unaware of, which was consistent with their leaks. We were able to give him a breakdown of exactly what he needed and what it would cost.  We were able to provide solutions and genuine respect and care for the homeowner. In the end, he trusted us to do the job right.

This homeowner a beautiful home with a very large hip. After going up and checking the roofline and attic, we found they had minor issues but the roof was 30 years old and they were going to be giving the house to their kids, so they wanted to make sure the house was sound. They were very excited about our company and loved what they read about us. We did a full inspection and sat with them at the table, going through the manual with them step by step, and then our colors as well. By the time we were through, they said they didn’t even care about the fifth person coming out to give them an estimate and went with us.

At this very old home in Croton on Hudson, NY, the homeowners called due to some shingles that had blown off and a flat roof area that was leaking. Though their roof had very steep pitches and was difficult to navigate, we persevered and were able to fly our drone to gain a more thorough understanding of the roof. During his inspection, he found that the ridge venting was inadequate because it was compressed due to shingle weight and being nailed in too hard. It was compressed so much that air couldn’t flow freely out of it. Normally this can cause moisture accrual, however, the homeowner kept the windows open, so luckily, they had not accrued any mold. Once we replaced his roof, the ridge vent and soffit vents took the place of the windows so he could finally close them! We were the only company that sat down and explained our process step-by-step and made the homeowners feel comfortable enough to move forward.

This homeowner told us that he had other people come out, but they were not very receptive to the fact that he had to work from home. Many of them didn’t take him seriously or give him the full presentation and inspection he was looking for. When we got there, we went up in the attic, took pictures, and did a very detailed inspection, as is the Klaus Larsen Way. We didn’t notice anything bad in the attic, but the shingles had seen better days. His roof was missing shingles, and from the sight of the roof, they were definitely over thirty years old. Along with shingle blowoffs, significant granule loss could be seen coming out of the gutters. The shingles were also starting to get brittle, so it was time. He appreciated that our team members did not apply too much pressure but still helped him along the way. The homeowner just moved from Yonkers into this home and wanted to make sure his roof was done right the first time; he had kids and a family there. He wanted to make sure that they were protected in the future, and we helped him with that.

These homeowners were being proactive with their roof, as they just recently bought a house. There were no leaks, but there was lichen growth and the roof was 20 years old. They wanted to replace it simply for the peace of mind that they would never have to worry about it again.

This roof has no leaks at the time of replacement, however, it was approximately 25 to 30 years old. This was a very unique roof because they had certain slopes with metal, and others with asphalt shingles. We went ahead and replaced their whole roof with asphalt shingles!

The last time this roof was replaced was in 1997, which made the shingles 24 years old. The project began with recycling one layer of the old asphalt shingles, which are then re-purposed into pavement for roads. After protecting the plywood with moisture proof sealing-rubber, we installed new starter shingles to prevent water from backing up at the drip edge. We finished by replacing the shed roof, with matching Estate Grey shingles.  

Minor repairs on a roof can you save you money short term, but a problem spot will inevitably turn into a wider problem area. We started this roof up from scratch. Both chimneys were reflashed, the bathroom exhaust vent was reconnected to an existing flex duct, and we installed a new exterior exhaust hood for the kitchen fan. We also replaced and reflashed all skylights and installed new interior finish trim for them. We finished by replacing the roof with Brownstone shingles.  

We put a new roof on in Cortlandt Manor, New York, since the roof was around 14 1/2 years old. The customer decided to go with our glacier shingle color.
